Direct School Admission Secondary (Year 1)

2026 DIRECT SCHOOL ADMISSION INTO SECONDARY SCHOOLS FOR 2027 YEAR 1 INTAKE

Direct School Admission-Sec (DSA-Sec) provides a pathway for students to gain direct entry into secondary schools based on their diverse talents and achievements, beyond their performance at the PSLE.

Students successfully allocated a school via DSA-Sec will not be allowed to participate in the Secondary 1 Posting exercise as places have already been reserved for them in the DSA-Sec schools. They will also not be allowed to transfer to another secondary school after the release of the PSLE results and are expected to honour their commitment to the DSA-Sec schools.

Boys who wish to participate in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)’s DSA-Sec exercise are required to apply through the MOE Centralised DSA-Sec Portal. Applicants can opt for Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) Programme, Integrated Programme (IP) or No Preference (i.e., to be considered for IP and SEC Programme).

Students may apply through DSA-Sec to ACS (Independent) for the listed specific talent areas. The final selection is dependent on various factors, such as the number and quality of applications received, the school’s talent requirements, the availability of suitable candidates, and vacancies. There is no guarantee that at least one offer will be granted for every listed talent area as selection is dependent on these factors.

Participation in DSA-Sec is optional. Students not participating in DSA-Sec will participate in MOE Secondary 1 Centralised Posting exercise. They will be posted to secondary schools based on their PSLE results.
